made some practice shirts for my tshirt vinyl heat press workshop next saturday, december 5th at the portland art museum.
made some cookies this morning for zara’s class tomorrow.



here is the recipe found off of the joy of baking.
Dough:
2 3/4 cups (360 grams) all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup (227 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
1 1/2 cups (300 grams) granulated white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Coating:
1/3 cup (66 grams) granulated white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Directions:
Cream softened butter and sugar.
Add eggs. Mix till well combined.
Add vanilla. Stir
Add flour, baking powder, and salt mixture. Mix until you have a smooth dough.
Make coating by combining sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
Roll dough into 1-2 inch balls.
Roll in the sugar/cinnamon coating.
Place on baking sheet covered in parchment paper.
Use palm of hand to flatten ball of dough to about half inch thickness.
Bake 400 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes.
