Question Number Nine Photo Shoot

the not ______ tshirt project has a name now, question number nine, after the ninth question on the 2010 census, which is “what is person 1’s race?” though i might change the name of this project again to some other race (still don’t know yet)

thank you to liz, andrew, chris, and tom for taking part in this photoshoot. thank you to tom and matt for helping with lighting else i’d be quite lost.

Not ______ T-shirt Trial Run

working on a new project relating to my over-arching concept for the year. here is the first in my “not ______” series of shirts. based on the idea of how language becomes a source of tension when we intentionally or unintentionally mislabel/stereotype people. also, speaks to what is going on now, regarding the classification of people through the census for 2010.

thanks chris for being an awesome tshirt model.

Luminous Deer T-shirts

i think i’ve been on a slight tshirt vinyl obsession lately but here goes some more tshirts that i’ve designed. thank you to liz and steven for helping me to press and weed the tshirts. i’m glad that we’ve finally found the trick to our heat press in the studio. it makes the tshirt vinyl stay way better than before.

i designed the logo for our bfa class, which we have entitled, ‘luminous deer.’

girls got the sangria and boys got the asphalt. however, all the tshirts had white vinyl lettering and antlers on them.
